These are the fantastic Networks designs by Barbara Fray. They use an embroidery technique based on overlapping layers of coloured net, augmented with hand stitching. They come as full kits, which include complete instructions. The designs are worked by cutting shapes from the net, attaching them to the background fabric with small seed stitches, gradually building up the depth of colour. Succeeding layers of net overlap the net and stitching below. Final detail is added with surface embroidery. Whilst not for the novice, these kits can be readily undertaken by someone with a little embroidery experience looking for something different and exciting.

Barbara is no longer producing her kits, and whilst some are now being produced by Classic Embroidery (the first 5 designs below) the rest are not and we can only offer what stock we have left.
